Joomla 2.5: How to Preview Articles

The old Joomla Article Preview Button is gone now ...

To Preview a Joomla Article it's best to see it inside the Template so there's no surprises later.

The Template may introduce CSS that affects the Article.

The Article needs to remain private while being previewed.

This can be done by assigning the Article to the "Special" Access Level.

The "Special" Access Level includes all users except Public (un-registered) and Registered.

There is also a Joomla Extension called Better Preview that restores the preview button in Joomla 2.5
